US Funds To China Labs: The enmity between China and America is well known. In the last two decades, both the countries are standing face to face with each other. But still, showing generosity, America is giving crores of dollars to its ‘enemy’ China for research. Many labs in China are getting funding of crores of rupees from America for dangerous research on animals.
In total, 27 Chinese labs are being given funding of crores of rupees from the US side. So far funding of Rs 120 crore has been given. The thing to note here is that China’s Wuhan lab is accused of leaking the Kovid virus. This allegation was made by America itself. Still he is busy giving money to Chinese labs. What kind of research is China doing with this money?
According to the Daily Mail report, in US sponsored research, China’s labs collect dangerous avian flu virus from meat markets. After this, chickens, ducks and guinea pigs are infected through this virus. This makes the virus spreading rapidly. The rules regarding the precautions to be taken during research in China are not as strict as in America. That’s why the danger also increases.
In some institute in China, the results of giving TB disease to rats are seen, while in some, research is being done on the strain of malaria. At one place rats are being infected with malaria. There are some such labs, where tests are going on for serious diseases like hepatitis and HIV. There is also a lab where viruses are being released by drilling into the brains of rats.
Watchdog group ‘White Coat West’ (WWC) project has prepared a complete data, in which it has been told that which institution has received the money. WWC says that institutions like ‘Harbin Veterinary Research Institute’, ‘Institut Pasteur of Shanghai’, ‘Qchin County Zhangliang Digging Machine Business Department’, ‘Wuhan Institute of Virology’ have received money from American institutions and universities.
What is the reason for giving money to China?
Actually, if you want to do research in America, then you have to follow the rules and regulations made by the government. Funding and licensing also take a long time. The American government thinks many times before doing any such research on its land, in which the risk is high. This is the reason why it takes support of the labs present in China for research like this and funds them.
Money is given to Chinese universities and labs through American government institutions and renowned universities. America says that this is done to increase scientific cooperation between the two countries, so that whatever research results come out, it can benefit the whole world. America also feels that if research is done with China, then it will also be able to get that information, which China usually hides.
However, China has its own disadvantages of funding research. A large population of America feels that China can use scientific research for the benefit of its military. He can make some such weapons, which can be used only on America.
